REDAKAI CONQUERS ANOTHER CONTINENT
Licensing, Toy, Television, and Home Entertainment plans Underway down Under
(Paris, France, January 10, 2012). Marathon Media, part of Zodiak Kids, is pleased to announce a broad range of new partners in Australia and New Zealand for its latest boys property, Redakai, Conquer the Kairu, including Stella Projects, Moose Toys, Network Ten, and Magna Home Video.
The Redakai cross-platform plan will kick off on Network Ten’s Toasted block in early 2012, providing a solid TV presence for the property. The TV launch will be followed by a DVD release in mid 2012 by Magna Home Video, one of Australia’s leading home entertainment distributors.
Premier Australian toy company Moose Toys will start by launching the highly original Spinmaster Redakai™ TCG (trading card game) to specialty retailers from February 2012. Redakai™ TCG offers a ground-breaking innovation in gaming, taking trading cards to the next level with amazing Blast3D™ technology and never seen before 3D and animation effects. The full toy line, developed and owned by Spin Master, co-creator of the property, will be presented to the toy industry at the Melbourne Toy Fair in March 2012.
Well established kids company Stella Projects have been appointed licensing agent in both Australia and New Zealand. With an apparel deal in the works, the company will work closely with all partners to develop the property.

Based on an original concept, Redakai is a co-production between Marathon Media Studios and Spin Master. Marathon Media hold the global TV and licensing rights excluding North America, which are held by Spin Master, along with all toy rights.
Redakai: Conquer the Kairu is a kids adventure series starring Ky, a 15-year-old student of ancient martial arts who embarks on an incredible quest to find the Kairu, a primordial alien energy force. Helped by his friends Maya and Boomer, Ky travels the globe looking for the Kairu to protect it from his extraterrestrial teenage opponents, with the hope that one day he will become the greatest Kairu warrior of them all – a
